P5- Open Project

I really enjoy working with Illustrator. I like how you start tracing a simple shape and from the basics you start to grow into the potential of what it can be. I recently got a book for sell about wolves. I would really like to work with an image of a wolf and trace it in illustrator. Lately I been influence by Iain Macarthur, Andreas Preis and Luke Dixon work. I love looking at their ink work and seeing how they incorporate Illustrator too. I was thinking of turning the overall image into a t-shirt design. I been looking at how to do a screen print and what are the processes. I think I might have to do a iron on if it comes down to it.

Time

My idea for the next project is to have a series. I was thinking of having a bird in one photo and then having a series of time where the bird fly's away to the next photograph. I want the series to be in black in white. I was thinking of the series being about how I transition from a city to Boone. I took several pictures of the city life and of birds flying and I was thinking of having them fly to the next picture into Boone. The motion of time is through the birds flying showing my past and where I am today and maybe a white one were it is fuzzy to show my future.

Project 3: ‑THE CYCLICAL NATURE OF THINGS

The
cyclical nature of things, when I started to brain storm what to do for this project the word cyclical kept repeating in my head. I analyzed the word and thought of the cycle, the cycle of nature but more in depth and started to think of what a tree is to us and how we revolve around trees. As a kid growing up, I used to love playing in trees but as we grow older we start to appreciate trees and what they do for us. I started to think of the life cycle of a person how we grow and later in time we will die and all we want in the end is to by buried next to a tree and the cycle continues.

For this project I will focus on day: when we are kids and night: when we are older and use those two themes and represent them some how in this project.
